I never thought I'd say it before, but after the recent death of all my music on my 1tb external drive, I have been listening to a bunch of radio, and have decided definitively that music int he 90s fu**ing rocked.
Seriously, all this utter crap we have been listening to and calling music for the last 9 years is unbelievably, horribly, terminally bad.
Except for maybe 3-4 really good metal bands that have come out and a few and far between indie bands, everything sucks, sucks, sucks.
I mean come on, Nirvana, Prodigy, Stone Temple Pilots, Garbage, Green Day, Deftones, etc, holy shit! What the hell happened?!
All this hipster-indie nonsense, all this mainstream formula noise, all this repetitive r'n'b and all the attempts at alternative rock/metal should be meticulously dropped off in an incinerator. ASAP. If your local incineration facilities are occupied, unavailable or simply inaccessible, you may also proceed to deposit all said music in a dumpster somewhere and forget about it.
Go download some real music people. Yes, download, because if you're still buying CDs then there is a chance you are convinced you still live in the 90s.
As Rage Against the Machine put it so elegantly, 'we gotta take the power back.' Boycott emo-core-indie-punk-pop-rock today! Nobody cares if you got dumped but you!
